Last Updated: January 29, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using the SMRP Automator (Dietetics) Google Chrome extension (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, specifically the eligibility requirements regarding Ministry of Health authorization, you must immediately uninstall and discontinue use of the Service.
2. Strict Eligibility & Account Requirements
CRITICAL NOTICE: This Service is exclusively for the use of authorized Ministry of Health (MOH) personnel.
To use this Service, you explicitly warrant that:
- Authorized Personnel: You are a current employee or authorized contractor of the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
- Government Account Usage: You are accessing the Service strictly using an official
@moh.gov.my (MyGovUC) Google Workspace account.
- Prohibited Accounts: You agree NOT to use personal email accounts (e.g., @gmail.com, @yahoo.com) with this Service. Usage of personal accounts for processing patient data is a violation of these Terms and potentially violates the Official Secrets Act (OSA) and MOH Data Governance policies.
- SMRP Access: You possess valid, authorized login credentials for the SMRP Portal (myhdw.moh.gov.my). This Service does not provide access to SMRP; it only automates actions you are already authorized to perform.
3. Nature of the Service (Automation Tool)
The Service is a productivity tool designed to automate data entry from Google Sheets to the SMRP Portal.
- No Medical Advice: The Service is a technical tool for data entry. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or clinical decision support.
- User Verification Required: You acknowledge that automation software can occasionally produce errors (e.g., data misalignment due to website layout changes). You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all data entered by the Service into the SMRP Portal before submitting or finalizing any records.
4. Privacy and Data Security
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
You acknowledge that while the Service processes data locally to protect privacy, you are responsible for the security of your own workstation, your Google Account credentials, and the physical security of the device where patient data is displayed.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to process data for which you do not have authorized access.
- Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the Service.
- Use the Service to knowingly violate the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) or MOH patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Bypass any security measures of the Google Chrome Web Store or the SMRP Portal.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer(s) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:
- Errors in data entry resulting in incorrect patient records.
- Loss of data or corruption of Google Sheets.
- Disciplinary actions taken against you by your employer (MOH) arising from your misuse of this tool or failure to adhere to data governance policies.
You agree that you bear full responsibility for the data submitted under your login credentials.
8. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
